A new monster.

Now for the thread!

When your faced with a new monster youve never faught before whats your strategy? Do you use a sertain weapon, or look for info, or just wing it and hope for the best?

Oh i just grab my duals and wing it haha. I do play it a little more careful though and I try to learn the monster's attacks. I'll move this though, we don't really have a forum specific for this but it could confuse people in the forum it's in now.

well, i usually just go with the weapon thats comes most natural to me, hammer or hunting horn.

Im also more careful. I also usally bring a trap or 2 incase things get rough.

Also i go for weapons im most expirianced in or i think will be my best choices. In 3rd usally duals are my go to weapon.

What he said. I usually just try to wing it. I will observe the monster's moves to see what it does and act accordingly. My first few times fighting a monster usually takes forever because I'm studying it and being careful. Once I get it down, then it's time to massacre it.

If the monster is completely new like Jinouga i'll spend the whole time getting used to it moves in situation. but 95% of the time I'll wing it.
