My channel has gotten very little views so I was wondering what are good tags I should put on it, or anything that can help boost the views of my channel to get it known out there. So far I have 21 videos of MHP3rd Hd, 21 videos of MHP3rd, and 31 videos of Tri.

Each video (with the exception of a few) is just me going on hunts with randoms or friends and slaying a monster but I don't have tutorials or podcasts.

I can't do podcasts because I don't have the time or video editing experience for it. I may do tutorials but I can barely find people to set it up with.

Any suggestions? Anyone I fan friend/subscribe to in order to help my channel being known?

also got any suggestions like which monster you want to see being hunted with which weapon (in a group or solo)?

Thanks in advice for the help (and looking at this post).

sadly, its really hard to get views up. the best thing you can do is basically just not worry about and keep up with your page. eventually, your videos get found.

but you could try posting your videos in forums where the video pertains to the subject.

example, My jhen weapon's guide was made for a specific person on unity, but it got a few views from people who were also curious about it.

Yeah, it's a disappointing answer but there really isn't a good way to get views up. I managed to get lucky and my channel boosted after a short while, but it's plateaued again. I recommend just doing videos for fun, not worrying about the content. One thing that i've tried (without much avail but probably due to popularity) is giveaways. They're a cheap way for subs and whatnot but they also get people to check out your channel - i did a beta giveaway with my friend a while back and that helped a little bit actually.

I can put you on my people you should check out list if you'd like, that might help (been meaning to update it anyway).

Commentaries are also good for subs, a lot of people like those types of things. Basically, be patient and just don't worry about it heh. If you're doing it for fun that should be enough anyway Wink

Whats your YT ID?

My YT ID is Frost4MonsterHunter. Since you're adding me on that list I did the same for you. (as courtesy) :)

I was thinking of adding commentaries but I don't know how to go about it. I use Bluetooth while playing the game but it doesn't transfer over to the computer, nor does anyone else's chatter as well.

oh much obliged Wink

Ah yeah blue tooth's are difficult to work with. I have a turtle beach headset i can plug into my PC to record. One way you can do this (the way i do my multi-comms) is go into your chat settings, where you can hear yourself talk, and record using your pvr there and just use the audio. (you said you have a pvr right lol) It's annoying to hear yourself talk but its one of the ways to do it.

The PVR I have is Roxio Game Cap Capture Card. It uses Component Cables (YPbPr), it allows 480p, 720p, and 1080i. It records in 480p (sadly) but with Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.0 I can render the video to 1080p. I believe its an HD PVR (but I'm no expert at it), feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm hoping it's an hd PVR (you have no idea).

The fact that it allows 720p is good, but the fact that it only records in 480p means its not recording it true HD, which isn't a huge deal. It's a less expensive device that records in lower quality but as you've said, it's possible to upscale. it's not as good as a full blown HD PVR but for less that professional usage it's just fine Wink Vegas is a beast of a program, i use it too. The main reason i was asking was just to see if you could record off your tv in decent quality haha.

What's decent quality? I can send videos in 1080p with lower space required than when it was recorded since it would be in mp4 format and not avi format.

When I upload the avi directly to YouTube after recording the highest quality the video goes is 480p despite the game being viewed in 1080i (for ps3 games) or 720p (for Wii games), so I'm assuming the video is recorded in 480p

Your video is being recorded in 480p. Which is Standard definition. 720p is the start of HD; which is funny because the Wii does not actually transmit above 480i (Pokemon. little offense meant sorry). The reason YT wont pick it up that high is because the only thing vegas does is upscale it - make it look more smooth across faster transitions, it can't actually upgrade the quality persay.
Point: don't worry about it; most people dont watch YT in HD anyway.

Well you didn't have to be a douchebag about it. Haha I'm joking. When it comes to video games or anime I can go on for days but when it comes to video resolution I'm lost for days. Anyway I will just stick to what I have since that's all I can basically do lol.
