MH4 Following Suit
I'm sure MANY of you have seen it already, but MH4 was announced for 3DS. The trailer is... well basically parkour and some near quick-time events. Graphics look the same as the past portable installments with the same animations for rocks breaking, things crumbling etc. Not very impressive.
ready set discuss the fall of MH.

I hate it.
its the death of MH as we know it.
Its basically MH: God of Uncharted War edition. i love god of war. i love uncharted. i love MH. i don't love the 3 thrown into a blender and served up hot as a steaming bowl of dog Pokemon.

Yeah, i'm gonna be putting alot of work into my game now(the community project). if i(we if people get involved) can get it done and looking good enough, should be able to pitch it and possibly get it developed.
that would be awesome and we would all have a game that he designed(and will get money for!)

Just watched the trailer and all I gotta say is what the Foosa are they thinking? For a game where you are suppose to be hunting monsters he sure spent a lot of time running from them. I'm not impressed with this at all. If this is how they are planning on getting a wider audience, then you can count me out.

If the game has an aspect where you sign up for quest instead of roaming around to find the monsters you want to farm then I believe this will rock. It strikes me like a free roam at D. Island on tri but better. Instead of being stuck at one place you can travel around. Assuming it's similar to tri's free roam where you faint and don't receive penalties.
I can also see it as traveling to different cities for different quests. That would be pretty cool. I don't know what Capcom is planning with this but I hope it's something good. If the game is pure free roam then I don't think it would do so great.
