About a bow....

Ok when i saw one vid of a person bowing a barroth it peaked my interest. How do i aim up and the arrow come down on a monster? Is it a certain type of bow shot or skill or what? Any tips would be great. Also is the dark blue coating exhaust coating? Thats what i took them to be throo expieriance.

You aim with triangle and R and shoot with O to do the mortar attack, it's for all bows too. Make sure to watch the type too, there's spread, focus and blast. Focus is great while spread can really hit other players and a lot of the shot may miss the monster.
Yep that dark blue coating is exhaust!

Oh great! Awesome thanks man ill have to do some test runs! And triping wont be an issue. I have no one to hunt with, my friend hasnt imported yet an its not looking like he will so im stuck alone haha. Thanks for the info!

venge forgot to mention, blast type is like crag shot, it will explode when it hits, and is capable of koing the monster(i done it)

Whoa! When can i get blast type? That sounds very fun! Or if it is a charge type, how will i know when i have it?(alot of visual is how im learning range since i cant read the info). I figured out bowgun shot through trial and error. Im assuming the dark blue shot is also exhaust? I also like how diabloses bow has 4 charges from the start, but i think all the charges ar pierce, i cant remember atm.

Oh looks like i did forget to explain blast, my bad! Blast bows are far and few between really, i only have one: akantor (as of right now).

But also, all mortar attacks are capable of KO if you hit them in the head, fyi.

Blast is a type of mortar shot, displayed in the upper right of a bow's details. It will be obvious too.. it'll explode. And yes i think the blos bow is all pierce, which is a great shot.

Yeah, it has pierce lv4 for fourth charge which is nice. And next time i bow ill try the mortor shot out. It sound so good!
